Web Developers

At least one year of experience developing and maintaining a commercial website. Experience with naming conventions and setting up file structures. Can look at a visual design and tell what it will take to implement it. Can tell at a glance how a page was put together or an entire site assembled. Knows what functions a given line of code performs.

• You can hand-code HTML (NOT WYSIWYG!)
• Experience implimenting and mainatining CMS interface template designs
• You can optimize HTML code / graphics / CSS for fast loading pages
• You can slice and dice prototype designs and quickly build site file directory structures
• You can handle cross-browser optimization
• Strong communication skills

• Javascript
• Photoshop
• DHTML, XML, JAVA, ASP, and Cold Fusion
• Working knowledge of CGI scripting, PERL, PHP.

• Understanding of page design requirements to successfully submit to the top search engines effectively
• Database engineering / architecture
• ecommerce site experience
