RBC Royal Rewards

Background
RBC Royal Rewards^TM is a loyalty rewards program for customers of select RBC credit cards providing the card holder the ability to accumulate points on purchases made which can then be redeemed for merchandise, gift certificates and RBC Registered Rewards^TM through either a fax order form or via an RBC Royal Rewards^TM agent by phone.

Challenge
RBC Royal Rewards^TM program was fragmented into an online merchandise catalogue supplemented by a faxable online form and a completely independent secured administration web site designed for use by RBC Royal Rewards^TM fulfillment agents.

The challenge was to provide both the agents and participating cardholders with an efficient seamlessly integrated online environment which allows for the redemption of RBC reward points for merchandise, gift certificates and/or RBC Registered Rewards^TM while adhering to stringent internal web specifications and guidelines.

Solution
As a partner of Ernex - developers of the database technology to drive the system, Montage Web Design was tasked to assist with key elements of design and implementation of the user interface for both the public RBC Royal Rewards^TM site as well as the RBC Royal Rewards^TM Agent site in keeping with stringent internal policies, security guidelines and cross browser compatibility to provide and efficient, fluid solution

In order to achieve the long-term goals, existing processes were streamlined, updated and integrated into one cohesive system that was easy to use, easy to update, and easy to maintain.
